Staying in a traditional Japanese ryokan, style room with an in, room hinoki wood bath is an unforgettable experience. On, table grilling adds to the fun. the private dining room serves delicious food with a unique upscale school lunch feel.
The staff was somewhat odd, and check, in lacked formality.

During our New Year's stay, we enjoyed the unique experience of wearing Japanese-style clothes. the private dining room was a great touch and the food was delicious. The location was convenient for our needs, close to attractions and parking was ample. it was a fun and enjoyable experience.
There were some downsides to our stay. We found someone else's used clothing in a closet, and there was mold build-up around the sink.

The bath and the private dinner were a nice touch and the location was convenient. the best aspect of the stay was getting to wear traditional Japanese clothes and feeling immersed in the culture.
The negatives far outweighed the positives. the staff was odd and unprofessional, and the amenities were subpar for the hefty price tag.
